Why Can’t We All Just Accept One Another?
We come in to this world instinctively knowing how to love. Love is one thing that we do know from the second we take our first breath. So why does HATE proliferate faster and easier than love?
If I had the answer to this question, then I would be in the
How difficult is it to listen to the words from a person saying that which you loath to hear. Can you not find anything within that person reflected inside of you? Think of that person listening to you pontificate your ideology and remember that you want this person to understand and accept you; so shouldn’t you want to understand and accept them. If understanding is not possible, what about just respecting the fact they stand up for themselves as you do and isn’t that something you both hold in common?
If we truly want a better place for tomorrow’s future, we need to make changes in how we act! We need to care more about that which we dislike, in order to make a positive change in this world. If we cannot come to terms with our opposition, then accept that it takes all kinds to make this world go round. The bigger person can allow the differences between us and can eliminate HATE.
It is OK to see the opposite of me living and breathing within you. It is OK to have something different from myself. You…are OK and I respect your existence and love myself enough to allow you in the same beautiful world I occupy.
